It’s just a flat narrow board with four wheels - that is what my empty mind said when I first saw it. It was one of those lazy nights when the moon was bright and stars shyly peeping above me. But the music on my phone slowly picked up the ennui I was feeling ... and its beat gave me a newfound self... pumped my blood... giving me the adrenaline to skate. Running and feeling the smooth road under my crumpy shoes. I got on my board, and just went through the motions... . It was a cold night but my heart felt warm. The city lights, the trees rustling, the cars beside me and the wind rushing through my clothes made me realize that there are still things that can make me happy.
